This course builds skills that are especially useful for accounting work experience, such as using accounting software to create nominal codes, customers and suppliers accounts, posting invoices, processing bank reconciliation, and understanding basic workplace processes. Through practical activities being processed independently, you will improve your confidence and ability to work with others.
This course helps you develop the key skills needed to succeed in the workplace, including communication, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, and workplace ethics.
You will learn how to manage tasks effectively, and understand what employers expect in real work settings.
By the end of the course, you will feel more prepared for work placements and future employment opportunities within an accounting and office work environment.

This course builds essential IT skills and knowledge needed for work in office and technical environments. You will learn how to use key software to present information, create spreadsheets, produce documents, and complete a range of digital tasks.
The course also covers basic to intermediate Excel software skills and digital technology used in administrative and entry-level IT roles. Through practical activities, you will build confidence in using computer software safely and effectively to carry out computations, set in formula and deliver work place documents.
By the end of the course, you will feel more confident using MS Excel and applying IT skills in study, work, or everyday life.
