Exemptions

For anyone who currently holds ACCA Course or other accounting course certificates, you may not need to take all the ACCA exams and you could apply for exemptions. It will be advisable to send in your certificates to ACCA while processing your application to become and student member of ACCA. There is a fee payable to ACCA for each exemption awarded to you.

Levels

The qualification can be done across these levels:

ACCA Apprenticeships

There are 2 levels of ACCA Accounting Apprenticeships:

Level 4

The level 4 ACCA Accounting Course Apprenticeship is made up of the first 3 units of the Applied Knowledge level of the ACCA qualification and upon completion of these units you will attain a Diploma in Accounting and Business qualification.

The level 4 ACCA Course qualification can be completed in less than 2 years.

The modules of the ACCA Course include:

  • AB - Accountant in Business
  • MA - Management Accounting
  • FA - Financial Accounting
  • Foundations in Professionalism
  • End Point Assessment

Level 7

The level 7 ACCA Accounting Course Apprenticeship is made up of the remaining 10 units of the ACA qualification, across the professional and advanced levels. Upon completion of these units you will attain the full ACCA qualification and can apply for the certified chartered accountant status, after meeting the other requirements. You will need to be in employment and have 36 months relevant experience.

The level 7 ACCA Course qualification can be completed in 3 to 4 years.

  • PM - Performance Management
  • TX – Taxation*
  • FR - Financial Reporting
  • AA - Audit and Assurance
  • FM - Financial Management
  • SBL - Strategic Business Leader

  • Optional modules from which you need to complete 2 modules:

    • AFM - Advanced Financial Management
    • APM - Advanced Performance Management
    • ATX - Advanced Taxation*
    • AAA - Advanced Audit and Assurance*
  • End Point Assessment

On the ACCA Accounting Course, the case study has to be the last module to be completed in the course program without exception.
