{"id":362,"date":"2024-12-10T12:22:49","date_gmt":"2024-12-10T12:22:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetrainingplace.org\/blog\/?p=362"},"modified":"2025-06-30T12:53:22","modified_gmt":"2025-06-30T11:53:22","slug":"taxable-supplies-taxable-persons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetrainingplace.org\/blog\/2024\/12\/taxable-supplies-taxable-persons\/","title":{"rendered":"Taxable Supplies &amp; Taxable Persons"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><u>TAXABLE SUPPLIES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HMRC indicate that the VAT Act 1994 section 4(2) provides that a taxable supply is a supply of goods or services made in the United Kingdom other than an exempt supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that taxable supplies are all goods or services sold which are not within the exempt items or items outside the scope of VAT, never minding who the seller is.
