\nyou are their dream candidate fast! Use these tips below to generate their
\ninterest and keep it long enough to call you for that interview:  <\/span><\/div>\n

\n\u00a7 <\/span><\/span>Overall
\nContent.<\/span><\/b> When a potential employer is reading through your
\nresume, they are really looking to have three main questions answered: What do
\nyou know? What have you done before? Can you do it for me? While writing your
\nCV keep these three questions in mind, and always remember that are writing it for<\/b>
\nthe recruiter, not for yourself. Keep your answers short and to the point. <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\n\u00a7 <\/span><\/span>Personal
\nstatement.<\/span><\/b> One paragraph that needs to
\nimmediately capture the attention of your reader, and emphasizes why they
\nshould continue reading the rest of your CV. Its aim is to highlight your
\nprofessional attributes and goals. Use keywords that are interchangeable here,
\nso that you can easily tailor your CV to each application using the particular
\nphrases in each job specification.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\u00a7 <\/span><\/span>Work
\nexperience.<\/span><\/b> Don\u2019t merely list your duties for each
\nprevious role; describe what responsibilities you had and what you achieved in
\nbullet points. Not every task you performed is able to be measured in numbers,
\nbut give percentage increases wherever possible.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

\n\u00a7 <\/span><\/span>Skills.<\/span><\/b>
\n A short, targeted skills list of up to 10 of your strongest and most
\ndesirable skills will attract a recruiter\u2019s attention. Good examples include
\nany IT package or programme you have used as well as any training certificates
\nyou have received. State for each whether you\u2019re at a basic, intermediate or
\nadvanced level. <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

\n\u00a7 <\/span><\/span>Hobbies
\n& Interests.<\/span><\/b> Focus on any club or team sport that
\nyou are a member of and any awards that you might have won. If you took time
\nout to travel, summarize it here, highlighting what organizational and
\nbudgeting skills you learnt from it.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

\nclear and simple layout.<\/span><\/b> Never break the two page rule! It\u2019s
\nmore than enough room to persuade your potential employer that you’re worth contacting
\nfor an interview; anything over the two pages may discourage them from looking
\nthrough it. Use lots of white space and clearly marked sections to make it easy
\nto read. <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
